Basic requirements for joining the 343rd Kokutai:
1) Show veteran/ace skill in the Hellcat against an N1K2-J.
2) Show veteran/ace skill in the N1K2-J against a Corsair.
3) Competence in landing and taxiing a Hellcat.
4) Display maturity and respect for squad members.
To attain carrier qualifications for the fighter wing:
1) Land and take off in the A6M2 10 out of 10 times from Hiryu-class carrier. Either stock or 1% can be used...stock is easy landing/difficult take-off, 1% is difficult landing/easy take-off.
To join the bomber wing:
1) Show basic handling and gunnery skills in the G4M2.
To attain carrier qualifications for the bomber wing:
1) Land and take off in the G4M2 9 out of 10 times from the carrier Fujiwara.
To attain Elite Naval Aviator status:
1) Land and take off in the 1% realityX A6M2 (or A6M3/A6M5) in VIRTUAL COCKPIT ONLY 10 out of 10 times in the squad's Carrier Qualifications mission.
